Hong Kong Food – Very Tasty
I don't think I had a bad meal in Hong Kong, it all tasted very good and fresh. Dim Sum, spicy chicken noodle soup, steamed broccoli, hot pot - I would go back for the food alone. Having a grilled ham and cheese at the San Fransisco airport when returning home was a bummer.
Oh wait - coming home from a bar late one night I stopped by a street vendor and bought a mix of something - seafood? - whatever it was it was yucky, even while slightly buzzed from one or two Tsing Taos.
Hong Kong At Night
The Hong Kong night-life was great fun - bars and clubs full of locals, tourists and expats. I got tangled up in some sort of drinking game where you roll 5 dice using a leather cup and bluff about what you have. Of course, after winning a few rounds it all went downhill as I must have missed some of the finer points of the game.
Hong Kong Peak Cafe in Soho, Central
After walking around in sweltering heat in Hong Kong for most of the day we stopped by the Peak Cafe in Central by the escalators to cool down with a beer and watch people walk by. Great spot!
